Our signature winter holiday attraction will warm all hearts ...even a heart that’s two sizes too small.  Bringing to life the 1957 Dr. Seuss holiday classic tale, ICE! features 10 colorful scenes straight out of the pages of the original storybook.  Sculpted from TWO-MILLION pounds of ice, the indoor walk-through attraction brilliantly showcases how the “Whoville-hating” Grinch learns the true meaning of Christmas. Visitors will take an adventure through the Grinch’s frozen world, see jaw-dropping ice sculptures and walk through larger-than-life scenes that re-create the original storyline.  They can see the Grinch’s devoted companion, Max the dog, and also his favorite Who, named Cindy Lou.  Little and big kids alike can even zip down two-story-tall slides made completely of ice!  Visitors will also experience “The Art of Dr. Seuss,” an international touring exhibit that showcases artifacts and memorabilia celebrating the art of Theodore “Dr. Seuss” Geisel.  Officially sanctioned by the Dr. Seuss Foundation, this exhibit is the only one of its kind in existence.  Showcasing lithographs, serigraphs and sculptures reproduced from Geisel’s original drawings and paintings, it has traveled the world since 1997 introducing generations young and old to the artistic legacy of Dr. Seuss. Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, originally known as “The Charlemanges” was founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the early 1950’s.  However, in the 1960’s the name was changed to Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, which soon went on to record several hits on Gamble & Huff’s Philadelphia International label between 1972 and 1976. ($)
